The Audiovisual BTS Editing/Postproduction Option is a 2-year course after having followed an Audiovisual preparatory year. It combines theory, technique and practice to access the editing and post-production professions.

- Video editing training in 2 years

- The BTS “Audiovisual Professions, Editing/Postproduction option”, allows you to acquire the technical skills and artistic know-how to carry out the editing and postproduction of a work or an audiovisual product: clip, short film, feature film, advertising…
- The student learns to master the different assembly techniques, to select the shots taken during the filming of an audiovisual work and to master the specific supports for final editing.

What are the learning objectives of the Audiovisual program?
The Audiovisual preparatory program provides systematic and technical training in editing, digital effects, shooting, and sound recording. The following two years of the BTS program enable students to acquire the technical skills and artistic expertise needed to carry out the editing and post-production of an audiovisual work or product, such as music videos, short films, feature films, or advertisements.
What is the structure of the Audiovisual program?
The Audiovisual program lasts 3 years, including a preparatory year.
- Year 1: 28 hours per week over 29 weeks of exploration and skill development
- Years 2 and 3: 28 hours per week over 29 weeks of expertise and mastery
What are the prerequisites for applying to the Audiovisual program?
To join the Audiovisual program at BRASSART, candidates must hold a high school diploma (Bac) or come from a preparatory cinema/audiovisual program, or any university background related to audiovisual studies, science, or humanities.
How can I apply to the Audiovisual program?
Applications must be submitted 2 to 6 months before the September intake. Following the review of the application (academic records and personal work), an admission interview is scheduled.
