VAE graphic design, 3D animation and video games at BRASSART

BRASSART believes in the importance of lifelong learning. This is why we are committed to supporting professionals in developing their skills. The VAE system is part of this approach. Our RNCP-certified qualifications are therefore accessible through the VAE pathway via the ‘France VAE’ platform, providing you with official recognition of your expertise.

What is the VAE?

The Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) allows individuals to obtain a professional certification through the recognition of professional, personal, and/or volunteer experiences that correspond to the skills required for that certification. A certification obtained through the VAE pathway holds the same value as one earned through initial education or continuing training.

Who is this program for?

The VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) is open to anyone, regardless of age, status or level of education. All professional experiences related to the targeted certification are taken into account, including volunteer work. As a true career development tool, the VAE makes it possible to:

• Enhance one’s skills ;
• Make one’s career path coherent ;
• To relaunch one’s career ;
• Anticipate or accelerate a career progression ;
• Change career direction.

Which qualifications are accessible through VAE at BRASSART?

• RNCP Title “Graphic and Digital Designer”, Level 6 (equivalent to 3–4 years of higher education), awarded by Brassart – professional certification registered in the RNCP by decision of France Compétences on 18/11/2020 for a duration of 5 years (RNCP 35083).
• RNCP Title “3D Animation, VFX & Video Game Designer”, Level 6 (equivalent to 3–4 years of higher education), awarded by Brassart – professional certification registered in the RNCP by decision of France Compétences on 01/06/2022 for a duration of 5 years (RNCP 36533).
• RNCP Title “Game Designer – Specialist in Gamification”, Level 6 (equivalent to 3–4 years of higher education), awarded by Brassart – professional certification registered in the RNCP by decision of France Compétences on 20/07/2022 for a duration of 5 years (RNCP 36744).
• RNCP Title “Eco-Design Graphic Designer”, Level 5 (equivalent to 2 years of higher education), awarded by Brassart – professional certification registered in the RNCP by decision of France Compétences on 18/07/2025 for a duration of 3 years (RNCP 41089).

The new VAE procedure via ‘France VAE’

The VAE process takes place in several stages, accessible via “France VAE,” the national platform dedicated to the VAE scheme.

1. Choosing a Professional Certification: Select the BRASSART professional certification that suits you by entering its title and RNCP number in the search bar:
   • « Graphic and Digital Designer » RNCP35083
   • “3D Designer in Animation, VFX and Video Games” – RNCP 36533
   • “Game Designer and Gamification Specialist” – RNCP 36744
   • “Eco-Design Graphic Designer” RNCP41089
2. Registration on the “France VAE” platform: You may choose to carry out your VAE with the support of a Pathway Support Architect (Architecte Accompagnateur de Parcours) or independently. The Pathway Support Architect is a strictly independent actor from BRASSART, with whom you will subscribe to an accompaniment service.
3. Filling Out the Feasibility File: Complete the feasibility file online from your France VAE account. It will then be reviewed by BRASSART through the ‘France VAE’ platform.
4. Assembling the Validation File: If your application is accepted, assemble your validation file. This step involves evaluating your experience and showing how your acquired skills align with the expectations of the targeted professional certification.
5. Presentation Before the VAE Jury: Present your validation file to the VAE jury organized by BRASSART. After deliberation, the jury’s decision will be communicated to you within 15 days.
   Three outcomes are possible:
   • Full Validation: the jury validates the experience and acquired skills and approves the issuance of the targeted professional certification.
   • Partial Validation: the jury awards the candidate a part of the targeted professional certification, but additional training or the acquisition of further experience in a specific area is required.
   • No validation is granted.

• VAE Jury Fees: €1,700.

RNCP Title “3D Animation, VFX & Video Game Designer”, Level 6

• VAE Jury Fees: €1,700.

RNCP Title “Game Designer – Specialist in Gamification”, Level 6

• VAE Jury Fees: €1,700.

RNCP Title “Eco-Design Graphic Designer”, Level 5

• Costs related to the VAE jury: €1,500.

Note: Whether you carry out your VAE with a Pathway Support Architect (AAP) or independently, VAE jury fees must be anticipated as part of your process. The conditions and procedures will be explained and accessible once you have selected your professional certification, as well as any potential support, on the “France VAE” platform.

BRASSART only displays information regarding VAE jury fees. For any other potential costs related to the VAE process (if applicable: support fees from an AAP, training fees, etc.), you will obtain the relevant information directly from “France VAE” / your AAP.
