After an integrated foundation year in applied arts, which introduces them to the world of artistic culture, students at BRASSART continue their Bachelor in Art Direction to explore the different aspects of graphic design and visual communication before moving on to a work-study Master’s in Art Direction.

Art Direction
The Bachelor in Art Direction enables students to approach all types of projects with methodology, creativity, and a strong sense of organization: graphic design, packaging design, web design, and advertising.

What are the learning objectives of the Art Direction program?
BRASSART’s Art Direction program equips students with the skills to design and oversee the creative process and implementation of graphic and digital communication projects. Throughout the program, students learn to analyze client requests, define strategic recommendations in graphic design, and develop creative concepts.
How is the Art Direction program structured?
The Art Direction program is divided into two parts:
- A 3-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated foundation year, with a 2- to 3-month internship in the 3rd year.
- A 2-year work-study Master’s program
How can I apply to the Art Direction program?
Application files must be submitted up to two months before the September intake. After reviewing your application, an individual motivation interview is scheduled. For the Master’s program, applications must be submitted 6 months before the start of the academic year. Entrance tests will assess the student’s artistic and technical level, followed by an individual interview.
What career opportunities are available after completing the Art Direction program?
The Art Direction program trains professionals who can pursue careers as art directors, brand designers, UX designers, or creative directors across various sectors: advertising and communications, publishing and print, video games, audiovisual and film, web and digital, fashion and luxury. Opportunities are diverse, depending on individual interests and skills.

In addition to the work-study Master’s program, which helps students build the foundations of their professional path, the Art Direction program combines complementary theoretical and practical courses to provide students with all the keys to success.
