International Studying
abroad
The Erasmus+ Program
Through the European Erasmus+ program for higher education, BRASSART has the opportunity to obtain scholarships to support its international development, establish new partnerships with schools abroad, and continue building a network of cultural industry businesses worldwide.
BRASSART can financially support its students’ mobility, provided they meet eligibility criteria and scholarships are available, for:
- Study semesters at a partner university or school abroad («Student Mobility for Studying»),
- Internships abroad (« Student Mobility for Training ») within a member country of the Erasmus program.
The selection process is based on several criteria (academic level, relevance of the mobility project, language proficiency, and adherence to deadlines). The International Relations Department will inform beneficiaries of the financial terms of these aids. Special attention is given to students with disabilities who, under certain conditions, can benefit from additional funds to encourage their mobility.
All actions will be carried out within the framework defined by the Erasmus Charter, which BRASSART commits to uphold.
Exchanges or Further Studies
BRASSART’s international partners are ready to welcome our students for exchange programs.
Information sessions are held at the beginning of each year to present partners, course catalogs, corresponding ECTS credits (1 semester equals 30 ECTS, 1 year equals 60 ECTS), selection criteria, prerequisites for admissions, and opportunities for financial support and timelines.
Most schools require minimum English proficiency levels - TOEFL or IELTS thresholds are required. If you are interested in mobility, please contact the International Relations Department: international@brassart.fr : international@brassart.fr
Before departure
Before each departure, a study agreement outlining the details of your mobility
(dates, chosen courses, corresponding ECTS credits, etc.) is signed.
The International Relations Coordinator assists you with administrative aspects
related to your departure: social coverage abroad, insurance (liability, work accident, etc.), visa, etc.
During mobility
During your mobility, the International Relations Department remains available
to meet your needs. Some course changes are allowed under certain conditions.
After mobility
After each period of study abroad, a transcript conforming
to the study agreement, listing the grades and ECTS credits earned at the partner institution, will enable you to validate
the time spent abroad within BRASSART.
Scholarship Programs
The European Erasmus+ program, regional councils, as well as certain
programs listed on the Campus Bourses search engine, can offer financial support under specific
conditions for departure and international mobility.
Selection Process
BRASSART places special emphasis on selecting applications without discrimination,
using fair and transparent selection criteria. These criteria are as follows:
- Academic and language proficiency results
- Coherence and relevance of the professional project.
- Adherence to the procedure deadlines
- Other possible forms of financial support for the student
Please contact the International Relations Department for
more information about the Erasmus scholarship and other possible scholarships.
Travel Tips
Whether as part of an exchange or an internship, it’s important to research
the country that will host you. The « diplomatie.gouv » website provides valuable advice for all types of destinations:
Internships Abroad
Completing an internship abroad allows for practical application
of acquired knowledge in an environment offering new perspectives
in terms of work methods and ways of thinking.
The Business Relations Department offers its support to guide you in your research, assist you in your procedures, and establish administrative formalities
once the internship is defined: drafting tripartite agreements detailing the internship’s tasks
and objectives, internship completion certificates, internship reports, etc.
In the case of an internship within the European Union, support from the Erasmus+ program
may be considered through the allocation of a scholarship subject to availability.
The International Relations Department will guide you through the process, especially when filling out the internship mobility kit.
You can find information about possible scholarship amounts in the Erasmus+ section.
The student remains responsible for their internship search and for taking
the necessary steps to carry it out abroad, which can be complex
depending on the target country (visa, work permit, insurance, etc.).
For information about internships in Europe, the Euroguidance network offers
extensive information about various European countries; the ReadyToGo website
can help with destinations outside Europe.
