Are work placements compulsory to complete a year's training at BRASSART?
A work placement is compulsory if you want to validate your training and obtain your diploma. The length and timing of work placements vary from program to program.
Above all, a work placement is a real opportunity to validate your career plan and develop your network. To make it easier for you to find what you are looking for, the Corporate Relations Department will be happy to help you. You can also count on our network of partner companies, and our alumni network of over 12,000 people will also be a considerable asset.
How can I find a work placement during my graphic design course at BRASSART?
Each BRASSART school of graphic design has a school-company relations department which will help you in your search for an internship and put you in touch with various companies to validate your year.
The BRASSART school has a strong network of partners (agencies, studios, advertisers) to which the graphic design school sends internship offers. The school has been in existence for over 75 years, so it is very well known in its ecosystem and has a network of over 12,000 graduates, which will make it easier for you to find an internship.
What are the work placement periods during our training at BRASSART?
Depending on the course and pathway, work placements vary in length from 2 months to 5 months.
The work placement may be in an agency or with an advertiser, in the creative field chosen by the student. The aim is for students to validate their career plans and develop their professional network.
Does the BRASSART School of Graphic Design offer work-linked training?
The final year of the ‘Artistic Direction’ program at BRASSART is a 100% sandwich course: 3 to 4 weeks in a company followed by 1 week at school. This formula enables our students to apply their theoretical learning in the professional world.
Are work placements paid?
All work placements during your training at BRASSART are paid as soon as they last more than 2 months.
Is it possible to do an internship abroad?
Yes, of course! All the work placements you do during your training at BRASSART can be abroad. The International Relations Department offers support to students to help them with their research and also to assist them with the administrative formalities.
How long are the work placements during our years of training at BRASSART?
Placement periods vary depending on the course and the year of study. They generally last from 2 to 6 months, giving students the opportunity to experience real professional immersion in a company.
In what areas can we carry out our internship?
Work placements can be in all kinds of fields, depending on each student's skills. Agencies, advertisers, animation or video game studios, publishing companies, etc. The opportunities are many and varied!
Do I have to do any work placements to validate my vocational training in graphic design at the BRASSART school?
